..so
here it is, finally. The new site is done and my excuses are no
more. Im happy with how it looks and I hope you are too. If not
Im sure youll let me know soon enough.
On this new posh site Ive been able to add a forum and chatroom
as well as the good old guestbook. As you all know, I get pretty
stressed over the guestbook because its never used for its intended
purpose, so the forum has taken over from it. The forum can be used
to start discussions about anything. The guestbook is for visitors
who want to make comments, not you locals with nuink better to do.
Please keep the nonsence to the forum or the chat. Cheers.
So.. whats happened since the old site was left to rot? Well a couple
of fridays ago we had a double night out because French left to
teach art in Oz (I would have killed for art teachers like French),
and Gin and Grill moved to the grove.. a mere four doors down from
Swivel! Cove road is going off!
To celebrate we skated the UG and then hit up Quarantine metal night
at the Dick. Grill 'dirty dancing style' stagediving, Bert being
asked to leave for 'molesting women,' requesting Slayer for French,
Blakey sleeping on Midland steps.. and thats just a fraction of
the night.
Welcome to Gin and Grill, and French.. good luck, we'll see you
in a year.

Well we had the UG to AG marathon, and although only six of us managed
the run it went off. Each pub loved us and cheered us on as we jogged
our way round the course.
Unfortunately we only managed 8 out of the 10 pubs but still that
is a good effort. Pics soon.

The week before that Blakey had a shindig to celebrate his free
house. Pictures were taken and are up now under the 'events' link
above. You lucky devils.

As you may have heard, the park has been put back by a few weeks.
Unfortunately this was out of ours and everyone elses hands due
to the lack of availability of Skatelite, backlog at galvanising
yards etc etc.
The whole deal with the park has been the subject of a few slightly
heated arguements as of late. There are loads of rumours flying
about.. but none of them are 100% true, and none of them can be
confirmed until the park is up and open, lets all just hope that
we get what weve been promised.
Sadly, the Resurrection Jam that was set for the opening day of
September 8th has had to be cancelled. We are all gutted about this
as it was looking set to be a decent day but theres nothing that
could be done. There will still be an opening ceremony but a lot
more low-key than was first hoped.
The opening date now looks to be around the end of September or
early October. Myself and Gin are looking at hopefully running a
comp there soon after. Im sure this will be great after the success
of the previous two 'Have you Seen Gin' events: KOTUG and MOM.

The Fboro Massive video 'Come This Far' is almost done. The final
tweaks to the sections are being made and its looking mighty fine.
I know theres been good and bad talk about it but were all happy
with it and we hope you all will be too.
Thats all folks, enjoy the new site.
